This is probably a pretty irrellevant question but , If I have {Hypersonic Dragon} out and I cast {searing spear}, maintaining priority , on the stack can I {worldfire} (being that it's an instant now) put them to one with worldfire then let searing spear resolve to kill them.

Not only is that legal. But that is AMAZING lol

 {Battle Hymn}, and maybe  {Young Pyromancer} and you could probably pull it off, in an Izzet deck.  Very nice find indeed.
