Very early build obviously as no room for lands yet...just getting thoughts

respawned

Still early build but I at least got it narrowed down somewhat lol

Tweaked a little more and added sideboard now going to bed...lol...as always thoughts are welcome

Pirate John

Too many non creature spells for effective domri. Might work if you cut the {Altar's reap} and add mana dorks or {child of night}. I personally love child, ESP with 'bad' Liliana

Try {mana bloom}. It's mana fixing + something to do turn 3 or 2. Looks like your deck is lacking turn 3 plays. Besides, it lets you rakdos return on turn 4 instead of 5. Mch more controlly.

I'm just going to assume {doom blade} and/or {ultimate price} is in the side.

Pirate John

Waaay to many {Altar's reap}.

You always make me rethink my decisions pirate...which I much appreciate...but I have to argue with you on {altar's reap}...main situation I have it in there is if I have vastwood and kalonian in attacking together and vastwood gets blocked I can cast altar...sac vastwood...add counters to kalonian and possibly draw removal for another blocker...thoughts?

That's really late game tho. You have 2 hydras on the field. What kind of competitive player would allow that unless he was just going to board wipe?

Pirate John

That's a turn 7 play with this deck.

If you want to keep that play open, I'd play a creature you could sac to. Plus, it'd work with domri

it could come in handy in other situations but I see your point...ill have to play test...what would you suggest to replace them? Maybe {hellhole flailer}?

Pirate John

That sounds reasonable. Works with rakdos witch, works with corpsejack, fills the 3 drop slot, sac-able with burn potential. I like it much more than vastborn and altar's reap

You have to see my reasoning behind {altar's reap} though. Your creatures are far to precious to kill on a whim. They're just to mana intensive. Vastborn alone is super hard to make worthwhile.

Completely agree...like I said...you make me rethink my thoughts lol

Pirate John

That's not always a bad thing :)
