Anarchy

I was thinking of a new way to play Magic, called Anarchy. You play with 4-6 people and one person is declared the "Anarchist". The Anarchist starts with 40 life (where all others start with 20) and must play a control deck with no win con. I think it would keep people on their toes and lead to interesting games.

My playgroup tried this variant where we each had mono color decks and we had to take out our "enemy colors". I took out mine but Black and Green were still going at it so I sat there bombing people and wrecking boards. It was a lot of fun...

Sounds like a game called emperor I tried yesterday Emperor edh was intense tho, basicly like a 3v3 the 2 guys in the middle are the 'emperor' and each emporer has 2 teammates one on either side.  Person on left fights opponent on left same with right on right, emperors can't fight untill both his teammates have been eliminated . (Emperors start at 40, dudes start at 30). The emperor is like the coach as the guy on left can't talk to guy on far right, has to relay messages thru emperor the guys on the sides could only fight the guy in front of him until he was eliminated. Emperor can't attack until his teammates are gone but can pass off perminants to his teammates I dunno kind of hard to explain

I've played emperor but this is a bit different because there is only one "Anarchist" and the Anarchist's job is just to cause mayhem, instead of Emperor where you have one on each team and the goal is to win.
