We all love Nintendo but there's quality is certainly going down the drain. This could actually be worse then the WiiU thoughts?

Nintendo has really goofed this time. First they make themselves irrelevant in the console race, now they're practically handing mobile control to Apple and Android.

I didn't watch the video, but isn't it supposed to be for small children?

Although to be fair to Nintendo, they're facing Sony and Microsoft. They're a little outclassed when it comes to resources.

Well my question is, does Nintendo really need an amazing console to be a great company.

No.

I love Nintendo because of nostalgia, that is what Nintendo is.  Reliving classics, if they just keep doing that, they would be a hit.  Super smash bros was successful because it brought back memories.  Nintendo used to do things right, and I hope they drop out of the console race.  Mabye they should spend a few years polishing a console that could play all Nintendo made games.  Anything that was ever comparable with a Nintendo system.  Then release this new console.  It would be a HIT, they need to remember how that got to where they are.  What happened to Quality vs Quantity???

Nintendo will never die, no matter what..

I mean if you have playstation or a xbox you can still buy a wii or a ds and have a total different library of games for each
Plus the games that wii has like Mario, Donkey Kong, Pokémon, etc,... are just so popular !!
Wii can't compete with playstation and xbox but that didn't stop her to sell more then them !!

I'm a playstation guy, i grew up with playstation (and N64 😜) but i still buy a Wii U and 3DS simply because of the history that nintendo has, it pave the way for ps and xbox (and also because Mario Party is awesome 😝)

Nintendo is great, my favorite game to this day is Mario Carts on my Nintendo64 but yeah, recently...they suck.

Only reason I will every buy the 3DS is to finish off my Kingdom Hearts collection. :)

If you have ever played a game on XBox or Playstation (especially Call of Duty) and then gone and played it on a Wii, you would realize how much it sucks...Although Nintendo has an interesting spot in the handheld market.

focusing too much on grafics takes away from game play

As long as Nitendo is pushing out Zelda games, I'll continue to live in a Nintendo household. A Link to the Past aside, Skyward Sword is my favorite Zelda game.

Although the 2DS looks goofy, I get why they're doing it. Holiday season is coming up, and they need a new product to push. Wii U dropped right before Christmas last year. If I didnt already have a 3DS XL, I would MAYBE buy a 2DS simply for its cheaper price tag, even though it looks like a slice of cake.

On a different note, what does the 2ds do differently? I didn't have any sound on the video

Plays 3DS games without the 3D and is backwards compatible with DS games. That's basically it. And it doesn't fold. It's stationary.

I'm not talking about graphics, the controls suck. You aim at the person and pull the trigger but you always have to adjust for the sensor being on top or on the bottom of the tv, not in the middle and I feel the game is clumsier than when you play on any other console.

Birdbrain

Oh. Well, that's a valid reason for that argument then
