When I started playing magic I played a deck with almost the exact same cards as this minus the blood crypts, dreabore, and it needs more go for the throat. I was so excited with child and doom blade came back cause it just sent me down memory lane. And suggestions are welcome.

Stormkirk noble over blood artist. Blood artist will still make an amazing side. I just feel he better compliments this red-black aggro deck

He was underplayed in standard because everyone splashing red played pillars to get rid of delver. Hitting him was a bonus

And now there's {shock} and a dozen ways to get rid of him.

I miss my vamps, I played Nocturnus though, turned {Blood Artist} into a real beater!
