That could destroy in an Innistrad style human deck. Could you imagine an staring at army of humans and then all the sudden it hits the field along with a {Lightning Mauler}. That's when your opponent scoops.

That's the art for the duel deck though, so they might not be the art for Theros.

The RtR cards in Izzet v Golgari didn't have alternate art.

Some of them did...look at {Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord} another example is {Putrefy} (which was reprinted in DGM)

No, just commander. That's probably because when you drop him he gives you the land to cast him after he dies (CMC+2)

It's actually due to the number of OP lands available in edh.

Just check the database and input Titan

{Frost Titan} is the worst, and {Inferno Titan} has won many games for me, so he isn't bad.

But incomparison he is 4th on the list.

Primeval Titan was the .poo.. But for edh reasons there is a high chance of no reprint. But I can hope
