Wild creative deck. It's ideas like these that keep me playing magic. I shall make a similar deck. I think yours can use a few tweaks.

Definitely one of the best decks I've seen in a long time tho. Hands down.

-stolen identity over mimic for faster tokens (two upon casting with parallel lives in play then 2 more when your damage goes through)
-not sure you need the cackling counterparts
-consider resto or syncopates?

I think I like {Progenitor Mimic} more though. With {Stolen Idendity} I would have to be able to connect damage. With this, I can keep growing until I can connect. (Ps. {Progenitor Mimic} + {Thragtusk})

{Cackling Counterpart} was just a " Hey I probably need more Blue in the deck." But now that you mention "Syncopate" I'll most likely trade those out for some counter control.

To explain Sideboard. 


{Rootborn Defenses} against sweepers.

{Druid's Deliverance} against heavy damage Aggro such as Gruul.

{Progenitor Mimic} against another non control midrange.

{Selesnya Charm} against massive {Unburial Rites} creatures.

{Midnight Haunting} against Aggro or sweepers

The bigger the better, for tokens! Yes!!!!

Try stolen identity. It's the equivalent of dropping 2 thragtusks before the combat phase. If you're playing resto, you can cipher onto the resto to get those flying beats in. If the situation requires, you could copy the resto to 2x blink thragtusk.

I don't like minic because he has to wait a whole turn. Lots can happen before your upkeep.

Ps: need someone to 2x check stack rules. Not 100% sure we could 2x blink there

Copying Resto would create 1 instance of blink. Where would the second come from?
