No, that's not a typo. My mate and I have a wicked THG deck combo.

He's running a RG Eldrazi deck, full to the brim with Eldrazi and things that spawn the Eldrazi tokens.
I'm running an Esper-coloured Phyrexian deck, loaded with Infect and some Wither cards.

What do you guys think? And do you have any other ideas for amazing THG decks with friends?

Spikepit

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the acronym THG for?

I play denial heavy control while my brother plays some sort of aggro or midrange to squish whatever they lay out. It wins often, especially when I get a crypt ghast out and start extorting with all that extra mana :) the key to thg is finding decks that complement each other and cover any weaknesses.

I run white weenie Lifegain-enchant to compliment me partner's Rakdos heavy aggro and we have it down to a science.

Lol double up on goblins or burn, or goblins AND burn, they won't last four turns :)

What would my {R}{U} skies deck do well with paired in two headed giant? It locks down the opponent, and attacks with fliers, while also blowing up there creatures

One time I played 2 HG with a friend we played against our younger siblings with CONSTRUCTED 40 CARD decks he when rakdos agro and I when blue/white control...it was...AWESOME!!!!!!

the only strategy that works 99% of the time (except eldrazi in some cases) is doubling up. If you and your partner play the same thing, the only way that you can go wrong is in deck speed, but anything with red should be ok, so Izzet+Izzet=probably a winner
