I kill your Hippo guy with Grim's ability.
I sac  {Black Cat} to grimgrin to give him yet another 1/1 and have All- mana discard a card at random.
So all-mana 8/8 grimgrin (untapped) and 3/3 sightless attacking elspeth

Before you declare attackers I swords to plowshares your grim grin so your ability doesn't trigger and sac ability doesn't either. You still have everything. Besides grim grin and I block the ghoul with my hippo
