+1 look at the top three cards of your library. Reveal up to one target creature with power 5 or greater and put it into your hand.

-2 target creature with power 5 or more gains your choice of trample, hexproof, vigilance, lifelink, or first strike until the end of the turn.

-7 search your library for up to 8 creatures with power 5 or greater and put them onto the battlefield under your control. These creatures gain haste until the end of turn. Shuffle your library.

Would this fix his problem with the ultimate ability?
yes. It also turns it into a card that pushes the boundaries

Yeah it is too overpowered, just wondering if that was the way to correct the wording

Birdbrain

Three creatures instead of eight, turns it from overpowered, to playable, yet pushing the curve. Yet it pushes the curve without breaking it

Urza, The First Planeswalker {5}{W}{U}{B}{R}{G}

Planeswalker- Urza

+3) Search your library for a card and put it into your hand

-5) Add 5 mana of any combination of colors to your mana pool

-17) You get an emblem with (For the rest of the game you may cast cards from your's or your opponents hand, library and graveyard. You may do this at any moment.)

You would need a 5 color mana ramp to ever get this out, although once you get it out, your opponent scoops.

+1 for not bashing the mana cost and being optimist 😝
