If an opponent's creature was attacking, could I flash in an {ambush viper} and have it block for the kill or would summoning sickness prevent him from tapping?

Creatures can block same turn of summons, so yep! Thats the whole point of {Ambush Viper} 😁👌

You can flash him in when he declares attackers and block. If u wait for ur declare blockers step itll be too late. Blocking doesnt cause your creatures to tap btw.

Unless their ability states otherwise no they cannot block more than one creature.

For example {Palace Guard}
