Or even a charity that just buys the promised cards and sends to victims might be good

That would be insurance, good luck protecting that from fraud.

True that would be extremely difficult to prevent fraud. It'd have to be a neutral party which in and of itself would be difficult.

Neutral party does not change anything. I can still lie to the neutral party.

Lie to the neutral party about what? If the charity is the one who buys the cards and sends them to the ppl that get ripped off, what is lying going to do? Do you mean lying to the "charity" about what was lost?

Of course that's what I mean. If you want to prevent crime, think like criminal ;)

It would be kind of funny to listen to some of the dumb people trying to fraud the system. "I lost 3 {Black Lotus}es in a trade, when do I get the check?"

Piotr

Unfortunately there are smart criminals too.

Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth

I know some people would be smart with it. There would be some people creating multiple accounts from public computers, pretending to set up trades which never work out.

ibtrickey

Why are people getting so off topic in this trial? I posted this trial for something to happen.

Piotr

Define 'something'?

ibtrickey

I just want my cards back

Piotr

Are you wishing for a miracle? Or do you have an action plan?

This is rather rude. The guy wants help, he posts in a trial for it and you make snarky comments. I understand when making trades there are tons of disclaimers, warning that this situation could happen, but responses like this are ridiculous. At least try to help the guy out.

Do unto others as they would do to you. Past that I'm out of this again, I'll never understand Piotr logic.
