I didn't expect anything better than Jace, but c'mon...most of these cards are uncommon or common...a little ridiculous.

I do like that STP and Hymn are getting foiled, but really? A little disappointed.

This is actually a good set for the history standpoint. I remember playing with most of this cards when I was playing from 4th ed to onslaught. When I took a break from magic, I was completely out of the loop. Now I get to see what cards were good from the time I wasn't playing. This is a good collectors item, and I feel the price is just going to keep climbing.

I like it. Would still buy it if jace wasn't in it. Actually would rather see  {Stoneforge Mystic} instead of jace to keep the price down.

I agree a hundred percent. Magic is expensive enough without paying 200 dollars for cards you cant even use in the most popular format (type 2)

They really went for a good selection of cards, the ritual and swords is awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if the foil ritual was 30+$ since the only other foil is a judge foil.

I'm sad that most of these don't really interest me :/ Prob won't buy this one as a whole and just pick up a few of the singles for EDH

I think he was always a planeswalker but at the time of the old venser's printing there weren't planeswalker cards. As for venser's story, he apparently got help from teferi in awakening it.

Im disappointed that {dark ritual} doesn't have new artwork, but at the same time, it'll be sweet in the FTV foil.

Good cards, but kinda underwhelming to me. I have pretty much all of them except for a mind sculptor, but i guess if you have the extra cash to drop, it'd be pretty cool to have
