They WANT people to play mono or dual color. 3 color isn't natural.

well, it's not fair that they do the shards, but not the wedges. If they don't like people playing three colors, then Alara shouldn't have been done. Don't get me wrong, I like the block, and it has a rich story. I'm just saying, they should find a way to slow things down and discourage people from playing three colors, then roller coaster back up to if. Then take the dive away from it again towards another block with a mono-colored theme

Shards were all ally colors where right now people can play anything. Also, 3, 4 and 5 color decks are running rampant because the mana base is just too good. They aren't going to just declare "you may no long play multicolored decks" but they will try to push us back towards 1 and 2 color decks. They have already started to discourage dual lands with {Encroaching Wastes} and {Burning Earth} and they have been trying to put out good cards that are less easily splashable with the enemy-color hate cycle {Fiendslayer}, {Witchstalker}... They have also lessened what mana ramp cards we have been encouraging mono colored decks with stuff like {Kalonia Tusker}, the new {Garruk, Caller of Beasts} and {Liliana of the Dark Realms}. Though in the end it won't be a huge push or else they wouldn't have included the slivers which are almost always played at 3 color (usually Naya). Finally, don't expect as many 3 and 4 color decks but don't expect them to do anything too crazy.

Then why print  {Maze's End}? That's just asking to be put in a 5 colour deck as a win con, plus all the rare fuse cards have a total of 3 colours

For the same reason they printed battle of wits.

Im not saying not to run 3 colors I think it's cool, i just don't like the metagame right now.

Oh i win cause i payed for thagtusk and voice plus my colors are way  better!!!

Eack color should be evenly powered with eachother. Not oh well ifi want to win i need to run 3 colors and it has to be jund bant junk or naya which all cost about 300 dollars. Magic games should be more of a struggle to win, turn 3 win is never fun for anyone. control vs. agro is fun exept agro is so much better than control right now. Midrange vs. midrang is fun, agro vs agro is fun, that crazy guy with the {battle of wits} deck vs anything is fun. {unburial rites} on {thragtusk} is never fun, niether is turn 3 swing for 22 unblockable hexproof.

Im just saying iwant something fun not good, i'm happy about the rotationand i am confident with theros, but no dual lands until m15 or the next block would be good, maybe something that doesn't work with shock lands like lands that only work if you have a basic land that is cheaper for casual players who don't want to spend money on shocks. A slow meta is good not bad.

That was a quality rant! And I totally agree.

Ever play during Invasion block?  That's when they first experimented with the wedges, though not to to extent of the shards...

Funny that you say that because I was going through my old cards the other day and realized there are quite a few gold cards in Invasion.

Yeah. Invasion was the first set to truly explore multicolored mechanics. In fact, the legendary dragons in that block I believe were all wedge colors...

I understand what you are saying but we are in a dual colored set not in shards or invasion, theros still has some gold cards for a smooth transition like {giest of saint traft} and stuff, 3 color decks are fun and good but i think that once the whole set comes out mono color will be so much better that people will use it more, 3 color will work still but it wont be as good. Which is good because that will slow down the metagame. They are trying to transition us away not giving us a 3 color block, if we were going into a 3 color block i would say they definitly would reprint some form of dual lands but we aren't so therefore it would be better to have no duals till M15 or later.

It may be better but we are getting dual lands in Theros we just don't know which ones yet.

So does anyone think that each color will have a signature creature ??
Maybe:

{R} will have Minotaurs
{B} will have Gorgons
{U} will have Merfolks
{W} will have Humans
{G} will have Centaurs

What do u think ??

Yeab, seems plausible. However, I'm certain some cyclops, sirens and others will pop up too.
