Antirayman

I think you should cut {Batterskull}.
You have already {Celestial Colonnade}.
If you draw batterskull against combo or aggro it's just so bad. I think it could be a sideboard card against jund.
Isn't there a better counter spell than {Mana Tithe} in blue?
I think {Spell Snare} or {Cryptic Command} are better.

I've considered changing the Batterskull slots to something else. I know  {Mana Tithe} doesnt look like much, but I cant count the times people will tap out in modern. Most aren't familiar with the card either, so it basically becomes a counterspell for W. Spell Snare is fine but can be dead in more situations than tithe IMO. I love {Cryptic Command} but it messes up the curve unless batterskull is dropped.

Any opinions of the sideboard?

I have found {Mana Tithe} to be pretty helpful. Mostly in the fact that people aren't expecting it, and they generally think I'm holding on to a {Path to Exile}. I used it twice with great success on Sunday. Once against {Sphinx's Revelation} and one against {Wurmcoil Engine}.

Just curious as to why you went with {Engineered Explosives} over {Ratchet Bomb} in your sideboard? And no need for {Leyline of Sanctity} in the side?

RDW and things of the like are practically nonexistent in our metagame. Maybe at some point Leyline will make it's way back into the sideboard, but as of right now there's no reason to include it.

Hell yeah {Mana Tithe}!!  I love that card haha. I like {Eiganjo I forgot the second half} for Geist a lot.

Although, I don't really like {Isochron Scepter} or {Boros Charm}. Seem a little awkward maybe. I'd want to have some kinda draw other than {Electrolyze}. {Serum Visions}?

We tried  {Serum Visions} in our first build and it was okay. It smoothed out the deck a little, i think. Several here and our lgs have criticized our boros charm haha. :P It can protect Geist or be a finisher but it's prob the weakest card. I might add a 3rd  {Remand} since I just traded for one. It's a card I'm always happy to draw

Lol face, meet palm. Totally forgot about {Remand} :P.  What's the deal with the scepter?  As a one of, it just seems a little awkward IMO. I mean, if you open with it and slap a {Remand} or path on it, sure, but how often does that happen?

And I understand the uses of {Boros Charm} (unfortunately...) but it just seems like a winmore kinda thing honestly lol. And Geist is fairly defendable with his hexproof and a {Batterskull} already. I definitely do like some applications of the charm, though

Man, I'm coming across as a jerk haha. Not meaning to be!  😓

It can be very powerful, but it does require some investment, so I'd never want to draw more than one in any game. It may get dropped eventually, I like that it lets me do something with any excess mana mid game. If I did take it out I'd consider  {Cryptic Command} or maybe a 4th Geist

Nah, {Cryptic Command} is bad! :P jkjk. I do like it as a one of, for sure.

Oh, and btw, I really like this deck :P

You are not being a jerk! I appreciate the discussion and having to think these things through more. Someone at the lgs said it was a strange card and they didn't like it but wouldn't go in depth.

It's most helpful if you're racing with an opponent. A snappy and boros Cham is almost half their life total. BUT, it is sorta a filler card IMO, with some relevant applications. It has some surprise factor and then gets sided out for hate.

I feel like  {Thundermaw Hellkite} needs to be included somewhere

I almost wanna say drop the {Grim Lavamancer}s for maybe a {Thundermaw Hellkite} or two and maybe shift the {Baneslayer Angel} to main, but that's probably just my love of that card showing through haha.

The lavamancers seem like they could be a nice mana dump mid-late, but with Snappy, I feel like they might be a bit counterproductive. Although, they've seemed really popular before, and I've never understood the appeal, so I very well could be missing something awesome with them haha
