What is your opinion and why? Personally I think it's  {Pithing Needle}, it may not seem like much, but think of everything it stops,  {Ætherling},  {Olivia Voldaren}, planeswalkers, utility lands and most decks aren't running any artifact hate. Second choice would be  {Burning Earth} simply because of the land being used in meta game.

I didn't think Pithing Needle was Standard, unless it was reprinted. And Olivia's abilities are mana based.....so it wouldn't stop her.

Nevermind, I see where it was reprinted. But the second part of my argument still stands. Nevertheless, that card is pretty mean.

A mana ability is an activated ability that creates mana (such as with {Llanowar Elves}, {Birds of Paradise}, and {Ur-Golem's Eye}), or a triggered ability that triggers off of mana creation and makes more mana itself (such as with {Overgrowth} or the last ability on {Gauntlet of Power}).

{Snapcaster Mage} in my opinion. After it leaves standard, then I'd say {Ætherling}, especially since {U}{G}, {U}{R}, and even {U}{G}{R} is possible for bloodrush and other {G} pumps.

Everyone hates on {Rakdos's Return}

LMAO! That's a ridiculous combo I can't believe I never thought of

Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth

You can't name single most powerful card because how powerful a card is, is all relative to the other hundred actions and reactions going on in the game. For example, is {Hero's Reunion} a powerful card? It is when you have {Sanguine Bond} or {Archangel of Thune} out. Pay {W}{G} to gain 7 life, your opponent loses 7 life and every creature you control gets a +1/+1 counter, sounds good. Although if I have to choose, I would say Shocklands are the most powerful cards in standard because they provide us with an extraordinary land base that allows us to have these crazy multi-color decks.

Coffee Vampire

I would say {Thundermaw Hellkite}.
