I'm looking for some good tips on using white and green. I figure since many of you are more experienced you could give me a few tips. I've only been playing a couple years. Not to say I dont know how to play. And are their like guild groups or clubs that people talk at? For say, people who are in support of Selesnya talk in one thread and supporters of Boros talk in another.

Now if you're on a budget, you could run mana dorks ({Elvish Mystic}, {Avacyn's Pilgrim}, etc.),  {Wake the Reflections} and other populates, cheap token makers, life gain, and a few big creatures or creatures like {Crusader of Odric} and {Geist-Honored Monk}. It's a fun game of how high can my life get and how many creatures can I get.

{Emmara Tandris} is really not a good at all unless you are playing her in token EDH. Her cmc is too high for any 60 card deck that might actually place at a tournament.

OP, are you talking standard or modern? There's a really neat G/W deck in modern that my fiancé plays. I'm not a standard player, so I wouldn't be able to help out too much there. But I do feel that tokens are not the way to go if you like to win.

The problem with 99 percent of people making token decks, is they think the only thing they can include in their decks is token spawners or something with populate.

Most people do that so you don't get stuck with a ton of cards that effect tokens, but have no tokens. But yes, they should run more removal.
