Accused: Mrkyl20
Victim: ibtrickey.
Information:
I had set up a trade with this user about a month ago for 9 cards for 9 cards that were of almost equal value. I have gotten excuse after excuse of why I have not gotten the promised cards. Now I would just like to get my cards back. Wanted to bring this to trial.

You may want to wait more then 25 minutes for a response.

I have a similar scenario with the accused. A while ago I traded my Ral for a couple shocks, and he said that he'd send my shocks after he received my Ral (very understandable so I agreed). Anyway, I'm from Canada and he's from the USA so I sent out my Ral and it got to him 3 weeks later during this time we were in constant communication and he even told me that my cards were in the mail after the second week of him waiting (which was nice of him). However, I still have yet to get my cards, and it's been a month now. I've tried to PM twice but no answer.

He seems like a nice guy, but all I want are my cards.

Agarrita80

Traded a ral zarek for a couple of shocks?!?!?

Mattao19

Ya when he was $16 I traded for 2x  {Hallowed Fountain} but then I asked to get one Fountain and 1  {Godless Shrine} which he said was fine. But that was a month ago and I still have no cards :(

Is anything happening here?

Mikefrompluto

Can't do anything until we get a response from Mrkyl.

Vyse

Seems flawed, if he never shows nothing gets done, he gets cards and our friends get nothing. Just my 2 cents

What should we do then?

He hasn't been on in two weeks. How can a punishment be executed if he never gets back online? I mean its unfortunate that people have lost cards and I hate that its happened, but if someone disappears, what can we do?

Mattao19

If it's not a hassle Taysby. Like he doesn't seem like a bad guy I feel like he just forgot or something and a reminder might help

Please note that this trial is far from proven.

Any trade on this forum is made under iMtG Law, it is made clear and obvious in appropriate section of the Trade forum, is it not?

What can we do? It depends on where the real world jurisdiction of the crime is, and how much would it cost us to execute appropriate real world law. A lot of real world law is compatible with iMtG law, so there's a good chance that if you break our law, you also break real life law of your country of residence.

We could setup a fund, run by charity, for such purposes as executing iMtG law agreements.

Or even a charity that just buys the promised cards and sends to victims might be good

That would be insurance, good luck protecting that from fraud.
