No it works against every deck unless they make you lose life because {Pariah} says whenever you are dealt damage deal it to target creature instead and {Stuffy Doll} says whenever it is dealt damage redirect the damage.

Good very old combo, I prefer the use of {pariah's shield} as it does not vanish if the doll gets bounced, and can be equipped to other critters as the need arises

Well seeing as how it would be in a white deck just have {Pursuit of Knowledge} and you wouldn't loose, because you don't have to draw.
