I don't know why, but the girl who I helped into magic likes all the -1/-1 counters, and the idea of letting your enemy decay...  Then again she is goth.

I started out Golgari, wandered into Dimir, and now I'm a Grixis girl. Anything with Black is a FABULOUS choice, because Demons/Vampires/Zombies :D loooovvvveeeee. But honestly, I think she'd like anything, so long as you made it especially for her ;) because it shows you care enough to put in the effort to get her interested and playing regularly with colors and tactics that she might like! Bravo!!!

Idk, all I know is she loved it more than life itself.

It's because {Rakish Heir} is such a stud-muffin.

That he is, that he is.

Standard deck for another month :p but its her deck now so she can do whatever she likes with it so long as she doesn't damage the cards and make them worthless.

A girl I like wanted to play magic when she saw me and her friend playing once, let her use my RB innistrad vampire deck and she went nuts.  Since then I try to stay as close to standard as possible since I don't like broken combos, so for her b-day I gave it to her permanently.  Not throwing stereotypes around or anything, but girls certainly do love vampires...

Buahaha my first deck was vampires because I was all in to Twilight xD

When I first started playing I didn't get excited over cute cards or creatures. I liked the game itself, and I enjoyed winning. The first deck I made for myself was a mono white weenie deck. I agree that for new players, mono colored decks are easily the best to start out on. As a female, I sort of despise all of this "they like cute cards" talk. Make her a deck that has potential to win, she'll appreciate it a hell of a lot more than a {Grizzly Bears} deck.

Why can't it be both cute and win?

I got a sister and many friends that are girls. Girls like Wear Wolves. It gets annoying. Twilight makes my life impossible around the girl I like. But she only uses to try making me jealous. I know the truth cause she told me. Ha ha ha.
