Why does good and bad have to be represented by certain colors? There are gods of each color, each of the five heros shown so far is inspired by each color, there is no need to deprive certain colors of heros or monsters. Black can have heros that wish to rule and white can have monsters that abuse the principles of order and purity.

Birdbrain

Monsters in white would belive that what they are doing is right, and fight for that

Black hero's would probably do heroic things because they want glory and to make a name for themselves. And to get things they want: money, power, sex, prestige, ect

Mizark

What if we had a new Nicol Bolas ??!!
I'm mean, there's Gods in theros and Gods rule all so i could imagine Nicol Bolas going to theros slay the Gods, steal their power and proove that he is the true master of the Multiverse !!
With that said it could explain why Elspeth is back, maybe the Gods need they're help against Nicol Bolas and who knows she might even call upon Ajani to help her and if that happens i could see Nicol Bolas bring back Ajani's dead brother has a planeswalker. He would have three colors, "Black" because he's a zombie, "Red" because he's more aggressive then Ajani and he appears in the art of some red cards and, either "Blue" because he's controled by Nicol Bolas or "White" because he was good or "Green" because of where he lived (Naya)

This brings forth another question for speculation of a baseless quality.

What Colour do you think the Heroes, Monsters or Gods will appear in? Using Hercules for example, if sticking to the Mythos, I'd say he'd be in {R} due to his raw power and apparent hulk like qualities and if not straight {R}, then probably {R}{W}. But if sticking to MtG guidelines, Heroes (all of them) would most likely be {W}, due to the Order, Honour and Justice theme present in {W}.

Heracles could also potentially be part {B} as in  part of the myth he is driven mad

i always associated insanity with {R}. Because red acts without thinking, and doesn't think about the consequences of its actions until after there done. While black understands the consequences, and acts in spite of them

@mizark: I thought Elspeth was white. If she is black, it could be because she's thinking more of her own needs than the needs of other people

Or maybe she's whites goals with blacks means. As opposed to Ohrzov being blacks goals with whites means

{B}{R} might do it then, and I believe you misread there, mizark said elspeth was back, not black

I think a lot of times red knows the consequences, but doesn't care about them and just cares about BRINGING GOVERNMENT DOWN.

... each of the five heros shown so far is inspired by each color ...
For those that are struggling to find a reference to this link (like us Aussies with crappy servers) have a look here and the tease of this particular hero infers more standard domination that we only just thank got rid of.

Yeah, MaRo says that the mana base it too good in standard right now, that's why they released {Burning Earth} and why there are no shock lands in M14
