Without the tunneler, fling and the master is also only two cards, and it's also gg. And fling is also in standard.

However in both cases you have to make them not block the master, which is where the third card comes in.

Shifting the master wouldn't work either, his ability to hit them down to 1 prevents the card from dealing damage, making shifting futile
