Does {thorncaster sliver} ability stack? Like if I have 2 would each sliver deal 2 damage? I think yes. Thanks.

They would be able to do 1 damage twice.

Kaleo42

2 damage total. Each sliver has deal 1 damage not deal X where X is your slivers.

He's asking if he's got two Thorncaster's, would slivers each deal 2 damage. Which they would. From the oracle ruling:

If you control multiple Thorncaster Slivers and a Sliver you control attacks, each ability will trigger separately.

Kaleo42

No. Please think about what youre saying.

"Each sliver gains whenever this creature attacks deal 1 damage to target..."

How does have two slivers make that ability become "whenever a sliver attacks deal 1 damage for each sliver you control." The text cant just change to deal more than one damage per sliver.

Oh! Yes. 1 damage per thorncaster per sliver. That makes so much more sense. Sorry guys

People ask some weird questions sometimes so i was not suprised when i read it as a total misread of the card. Oh well, gotta make mistakes sometimes.

Richardalcala

Please dont argue. Thanks guys.

To go deeper into this question, the triggered ability does damage BEFORE blockers are declared too, because the trigger is 'when it attacks'. 😁
