build your deck, and ^ work together like a charm.. and your land creature doods and whatever else your running just gets dumber and dumber and dumber especially if you have multiple vaults

InfinitiveDivinity

{Mutavault}, {Door of Destinies}.

InfinitiveDivinity

Something to note, {Mutavault} does not trigger Door. It enters as a land. Also, lands are not cast. This is still a nice little combo regardless though!

Birdbrain

I don't think the vault will trigger the door. Because the vault isn't a creature when it enters the battlefield

DirtyMustachio

Doesn't it enter the battlefield when you activate the ability?

That is correct. It will not trigger an enter the battlefield ability as its already on the battlefield as a land. Same goes for keyrunes ( {Izzet Keyrune}) and double sided cards when they transform ( {Huntmaster of the Fells}), etc.

Birdbrain

You could use the populate mechanic

Birdbrain

Yea! Make all your tokens MASSIVE and put a a lot of pressure on the opponent

Nope, you can't populate, it's not a token.

no. I mean make a bunch of tokens and populate them to trigger it

Wally

Also  {Door of Destinies} triggers from a creature spell type being cast. Not its etb.
Sorry to add to the confusion. :)

Birdbrain

Ok than...use lots of cheap creatures of a certain type, then generate a bunch of tokens. Or you could use it with the {wild cantor} combo

Double-O-Scotch

Seems like a tribal card, slivers, myr, zombies... Seems like a neat idea to bad a deck around...

Wackaman9001

Make bant tokens, {cackling counterpart} a vault, and beat face with token lands, using populate to boot:)
