Koth and Elspeth are the only block reprints aloud in my opinion.  The rest should be new.  And GOOD!  Not the "balanced" planeswalkers we have now.  We need a {Jace the Mindsculptor} type of planeswalker, with a great set to go along with it.  Unlike worldwake which had Jace, and a few other cards thrown in.

They actually said there would be two new Elspeths and one other walker.

Vampyvyrus

Uh no. It say elspeth and two new walkers. So just 1 elspeth.

18 revealed card art from Theros

I'm betting that's a new Elspeth card art, with the Window XP desktop background.

Hunteroffire9

Woah seeing that made
Me get excited for THeros!!!!

I see hydras and miniatures...
what about a hydra Minotaur? A hydra with Minotaur heads

Mlerner12

Or a hydra wielding the Minotaur hammer things.

WoTC has released a {G}{U}{R} walker, but nothing else about him. Anyone else hoping for Wedge decks in Journey Into Nyx?

Quote from:  Mark Rosewater:

The highlights revealed at the panel:

- It is to Greek mythology what Innistrad was to gothic horror
- Top-down design
- First time I lead the design and Erik Lauer led the development since Innistrad
- the block has an enchantment theme somehow connected to the gods
- The set has gods, heroes and monsters. Each has a new mechanic tied to it
- Of the other two mechanics, one is a repeated mechanic brought back that strongly hits the flavor of Greek mythology; the second is a mechanic that we thought had potential but didn't live up to it first time out - it has been mechanically retweaked and given a new name and flavor. The last mechanics is also tied to the gods
- There will be more legendary permanents than normal - not Kamigawa but above average
- The set's tone is one of accomplishment and adventure
- Not a lot of tribal but minotaurs get some love
- Many nods to elements of the stories of Greek myth
- 3 planeswalkers - Elspeth and two new ones
- A few gold cards but mostly monocolored with a little monocolored theme
- A Future Sight card and the set does something we've never done before except on another Future Sight card.

I feel like the returning Mechanic that was tweaked is probably Champion or Bushido.

What if there are creatures that can be played as auras?

The rules would be pretty confusing. They've made enchantment creatures like {Halcyon Glaze}, {Veiled Sentry}, ect. We could see some of that.

Supposedly the God's are going to have alternate casting costs we've not seen yet, most likely tied to enchantments of a certain type/produce a certain new mana.

Hopefully the new enchantments say "remove all Eldrazi from all decks in the room, they cannot return under any circumstances".
