Can {Spellskite} interrupt a {Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker}/{Deceiver Exarch} combo?

Wally

Yep! It's an ability, so that would work quite well actually.

Who would get the token though?

The person who controls {Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker}.

Antirayman

On kiki is written you control and on exarch too! I'm not really sure because i think you can't because it would be an illegal target.

TheRagingMage

Deceiver exarch has a modal ability, and the mode is decided when the ability is activated.  So spellskite would not be a legal target.

though it might cause kiki's ability to fizzle then

I would assume {Spellskite} would have to be a legal target for it to work.  So you can't change the target of a spell that says "Destroy target enchantment" to {Spellskite}.  Is there a card ruling for that?

The ruling is that you can activate the ability if spellskite is an illegal target, but the target will remain unchanged.

Either way, the card {Gleemax} is better.  But it costs 1 million.

Pay 2 life or {U} to redirect the untap from {pestermite} or {deciever exarch} to the kite away from kiki which stops the combo. If it is done with {restoration angel} then this wont work.

Kaleo go home you're drunk. spellskite only redirects towards itself.
