Undying Tokens?

My friend has a good zombie deck with  {Mikaeus, the Unhallowed} and  {Endless Ranks of the Dead} if a zombie token would die does the undying factor bring them back? Or since tokens disappear when destroyed do they cease to exist?

It will trigger the undying but when it attempts to resolve the token will cease to exist and undying will fizzle.

To clarify, tokens disappear when they change zones.
So, no. The tokens would not return.
