I am aware that damage assigned to a planeswalker is redirected through the controller. So is {Dreadbore} still redirected through me, and can I prevent this being used to kill a PW if I become hexproof.

Vyse

It never targets you so hex proof wouldn't help, sorry :/

Mikefrompluto

No. {Dreabore} does not assign damage. It destroys.

So the damage is redirected not the spell, understood. Thank you.

There is no damage assigned by dreadbore. It simply destroys a creature or planeswalker. As stated before, it doesn't regret the player, so if you have hexproof it won't prevent this spell from targeting your planeswalker.

Giggle the Draco Genius

Something here that should be mentioned. {dreadbore} does not get redirected since it targets the planeswalker, but this is only because it says it can target the planeswalker. {Bonfire of the Damned} on the other ham is a good example of redirected damage. It targets the player and redirects damage, if this targeted the planeswalker, the planeswalker would not really "control" any creatures

Thank you very much for clarifying, everybody.
