Mayor flips

Okay I was wondering [mayor of avabruk] was to flip would he trigger an additional counter on experiment one? Or say he was to flip back would he give champion of parish another counter?

Flipping is not the same as entering the battlefield. {huntmaster of the fells} as an example.

Since they are still considered the same creature and are already on the battlefield they would not trigger evolve or any other enter the battlefield effects.
