Not like we are short on links as is, but I believe majora's mask link could be really cool.

Each B move could be a mask that alters your A moves.
Db: Goron would be slow but strong with no real jumping power. However holding the Db move would allow for the rollout attack to charge and could be controlled similar to sonic's roll.
Ub: Deku with midrange attacks almost similar to olimar but with seeds and spins. Holding the Ub would pop out the helicopter flowers for a slight upward travel but mostly a vertical glide.
Fb: would be Zora with fast slashing attacks closely resembling wolf's movements but more graceful of course. Holding it would allow a sideways rush like a cross between the fox illusion and squirtle's recovery. It could charge like skull bash on pikachu, but not for as long. Maybe Ike's rush would be a better template for that move.
U: returns you to normal and charges the spin attack. The a moves would be slashes while charging would use equipment. This would be a much more close combat link but I think it would still be very fun.

All transformations should take about half a second so there is a delay but not enough that you cant change in combat. It would be cool to swap to goron to take a hit then back to deku or zora to hop back on the stage. All would have wall jumping capabilities except goron of course and the deku could wall stick.

The final smash would be the deity link, a limited time super form like a few others have already had. The B moves would be replaced with directional lunging slashes.

I loved Roy from melee, Ike was ok, but not as good, Marth is a boss. But by far the best character ever is modded Ike to be Cloud from Final Fantassy.

Thetrufflehunter

I played as ice climbers, bowser, and Diddy kong. We outlawed pit: he's so broken.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Pits not broken.
Meta Knight however...

I play as Kirby, Peach, and Ike.

Thetrufflehunter

Yah, my friends seem to be attracted to samus...

I feel like this topic has derailed from the original question. I will highly recommend not claiming to be unbeatable with any character. I am a former competitive player for this franchise and though I ranked extremely high in my time I was never "unbeatable" despite my growing mastery of the game.

Similar to a casual magic player going to fnm for the first time, it can be quite a shock when your "unbeatable" kitchen table deck meets even the semi competitive events. On the same note taking a 5-0 fnm deck to a grand prix can also be quite humbling.

I stopped playing competitive smash because the other top players would never say I was good. They would always say who I wasn't as good as. I know they were trying to keep me motivated to get better, but it was more discouraging than anything else.

The point I want to make with this little sharing of my past is that you should be proud of where you are at, but never assume or make it appear you believe are the "best" at anything.

Thats fair. My group did that to Marth for me in casual play.

I love when you get a character ban in friendly matches, so you pick random to try to make it fair, and it gives you the banned character.  I always think there's a little angel on my shoulder when that happens. :p

Forget all that nonsense. It's all about Super Smash Bros 64. Broken ass Link. My friend Josh is completely ridiculous with Pikachu and my friend Jacob wrecks with Kirby.
