Anyone here play it? I just bought the Nova Grapplers trial deck online because i wanted to pick it up and give this game a go. If anyone does i have question, why dont people just put as many things out turn 1 as possible? Im quite familiar with the rules.

Its a card game :P, but its much harder and complicated than mtg (believe it or not), not very popular in countries that have a prime language of english, but i heard in japan its huge.

From what I understand, it's based off an anime, like Yugioh. From talking to my lgs owner about it (who is sucking up pretty much the whole user base for the game in Ohio) the anime is geared towards teaching kids to buy new cards more than ever before, and there's even an lgs in the anime that the kids go to like a crack dealer.

I know nothing about card fight vanguard, but I love it because I love my lgs, and it's gotten my lgs great business.

I remember a few years a ago some mtg vanguard cards were released, they were oversized cards that you began the game with them in play. Almost a cross between a commander and a planeswalker it would have a negative and positive effect on play. For example, you start the game with one less card your hand, but you start with an extra 5 life, or your creatures get an additional +1/+1. I'm pretty sure you could integrate it into your standard deck, without having to make a vanguard specific deck. I know for sure than Tangarth the Minotaur from the tempest block was one of them.
