Maybe {Buried Ruin} in case the empire peices end up in the graveyard?

That's true.  I never thought about what would happen if one was destroyed.

How about {academy ruins} for same purpose. Costs the same but don't sac land.

It's legendary, and I don't know if I want to spend 11 dollars on a card that isn't needed for the deck.  It's a great card, but the deck works without it.

My opinion to expensive, especially when u have 2 copies of each. {cryptoplasm} isn't that expensive and would be able to copy the artifact. Or cheap I would say {elixir of immortality} wouldn't be on top but if u could search or draw more {mind unbound} for example you would be able to get back quick. Or get them faster in the first place.

Yeah get the two mixed up from time to time.

 {Tinker} should be restrict to 1 copy, this card is way too overpower.  {Reshape} could work for you.
