Context: since I've only been playing since scars I often go on gatherer and look at random cards to get ideas and find new cards. I swear I was doing this and ran into a card from what seemed to be mirrodin. It was called something similar to "lose control" and went something like this:

UU
Socerery
-gain control of target equipment (this effect lasts indefinitely)

It even had flavor text and art: the art was a mirrodin-styled background with the goblin flying through the air desprately holding onto a sword. The flavor text was something like: "it's easier when the goblin thinks to let go"

Is there a card like this? I can't find it and it is driving me nuts. Thanks, I needed to get that out of my head.

You're not crazy ;) well, not totally.

Haha thanks. What freaked me out was I went through the database and couldn't find it even when I went through the whole block. I must have missed it.

I was thinking about some cards I saw a long time ago.
One went something like this:
Target player concedes the game. They may ante an additional card to counter this spell.

The art was something like a plaintiff being pointed at by a judge.

Am I crazy or was this a fake card?
Maybe it was from an Un-set.

Nope you're thinking of  {Divine Verdict} with the flavor text. But yeah at least I know I'm not crazy.

It was a real card back when people played for ante.

I can't remember the name (something with verdict) and it said "unless they concede immediately, target player adds the top card of his deck to the ante" wi the flavor text "guilty"
{demonic attorney}?

Edit: yes, it is. Hey, I think we have a new game here

I was probably combining two cards too.
