Using ravnica city of guilds and lorewyn as a template we can expect strong two color synergy possibly with hybrid mana.

Going back to mono color after a gold set is awkward and we will not get another gold set. Rosewater has said on many occasions that multicolor (gold) sets need to be spaced out.

Just throwing this out there but I wounded if the dual land will be the other five they left out from the SoM block.

Birdbrain

MaRo said they are not doing dual lands because they are low in demand

Rass

Ok thanks just would like to see the rest one day

Mlerner12

Does anyone know about the "_______ of phobus" cards? I heard they're doing those.

Which one should I read first?
Agents
Putrefying
Test
That's the order they came out.
What about 'Curse of the Chain Veil'?
I don't think that book was ever released.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Then I'm guessing it be coming out soon...

{bridge from below} fits the underworld? Or maybe that picture was realy innistrad?

Edit: yea. The guy is wearing innistrad-y clothes

All-Mana Mania

I feel that theros block will maybe have some hybrid in it. Not like rtr block with multicolored. Also birdbrain, maro said that the code names have nothing to do with the set.

Dudecore

I don't know if {Bridge from Below} will be printed again (outside the obvious Modern Masters reprint). It is extremely confusing as to what it actually does, and we just left Innistrad - which is the perfect setting for a reprint of that card.

I can imagine something functionally similar to it, but probably more apparent as to how it functions.

Anyone have insight onto the Walkers? I think they should make a new Koth and Nicol Bolas. I think Nicy because this is a plane he would like, it seems, and if there's a plane like this he's probably in on it. While the others were ducking it out on Ravnica, he probably had gotten half Tfe plane already. Koth because he fits in this, and they haven't done him for awhile.

ChrisRodriguez

Does anybody else think the scry mechanic could come back in this set. Scrying is a mechanic to let you see the future and Greek mythology does have stories that deal with seeing or changing the future.

Mlerner12

Seems possible they'll try to bring back old mechanics...
