Best first turn drop for white possibly ever.

{Serra ascendant} is a perfect first turn drop for EDH, I laughed the first time I saw it. I gotta pick up a bunch of these badboys.

I just sold one off at GP Vegas. I always loved the card but never had more than one. Soul sisters into {felidar sovreign} is the only weenie deck I like to play.

Man do I love my foil  {Serra Ascendant}; although I must warn you that you will be hated out often. In my experience it can be destroyed immediately and I still get targeted for the rest of the game. Although if you are going to play it I recommend  {Mother of Runes} and  {Ranger of Eos} to go with it.

For sure, {mother of runes} is a definite, I was also thinking {lightning greaves} but I'd also be running it in a st. Traft deck where I have {daze} and other 1 drop counterspells. I also need a few Sovreigns too, one for my Trostani deck for sure

If you're going for life gain you might as well add in  {Test of Endurance} too. Just a thought.

We have dude in my EDH tourenrbt group who plays this card! And everyone hates it! But if he gets out first turn there like damn lucky git! And then get on with enjoying the threat!
