3 cards to pair together

I recently told my friend he should put  {Stuffy Doll} in his Azorious deck because of  {Trepanation Blade} but he was sayin he'd only do it if Stuffy could be made hexproof. So I showed him these two cards and I'm wondering which one you guys and girls prefer here on iMTG.  {Elgaud Shieldmate} or  {Mask of Avacyn} for Hexproofing?

I would consider glaring spotlight lol because I hate him using the azorious ascended lawmage and I'm stuck with no way to stop it

He usually puts ethereal armor on it and it being hexproof I can't target the Lawmage with spells so I have the hardest time removing him from the game when I don't use a Boros deck with a bunch of creatures to block.

What's the purpose of the {Stuffy Doll}?

The indestructible makes him want to also hexproof it. Because then there's almost no way to remove it without world spells
