Nice, but he needs more lightning stuff, because he's more of a lightning mage. But thanks,, and this was great.

In the Secretist he says this, so it should be his flavor.

"It's was exhausting, always having to show so many people how wrong they were."

Also I think personally he should have some sort of activatable ability like all the previous planewalker creatures. Something like his ability of tap untap permanents maybe? But please Ral...no more extra turns ;)

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

The reason that I want to keep the lightning effect like that, is because, try imagining putting two of him out from opening hand.  That is twelve damage because it counts himself when he is played.

But extra turns are really the only worthwhile ability... Maybe {r}{r}{b}{b}{t}: Take two extra turns after this one. You can only cast this ability the turn after an opponent's turn.

Destore117

I just am against it because there was a game where the kid had all 5 flips...5 turns...what am I supposed to do...

Ok....
No extra turns for this Ral...  I'm sorry, I just won't have it.

And you have to use capitals to get the color circles. ;)

Mlerner12

But extra turns are ral's big thing... It's the best part! It's like taking the number seven out of {Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker}'s ultimate!
I still think it's a good idea...

Destore117

How annoying would it be if instead of a -6 (or whatever his loyalty ulti is) to possibly take 5 turns. Your opponent straight got unlimited turns do to untapping their mana and playing it again.

It is still to broken though.  In fact the turn thing, never really made any sense to begin with.

I always saw the turn steal as what a Mind sculptor's ability should be.

Ral, Lord of Leylines                          {U}{R}{4}
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
Mythic Rare

If Ral, Lord of Leylines is in your opening hand, you may put it onto the battlefield.

Whenever a card enters the battlefield, that wasn't cast, Ral, Lord of Leylines deals 3 damage to target creature or player.

"Such unfathomable concepts, and yet I have them at my disposal.  Well, you have to use what you have.

Well, this may shock a few people, but Ral Zarek acually did study the Leylines.  I heard that in his story and I just went crazy about it because Leylines were so cool, and I wanted to see how that would incorporate into Dragon's Maze.  And it didn't.  So screw wizards, I'm incorrperating my Leylines! :)
He's actually extremely powerful in Tfe Secretust, so maybe a 5/4?

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

He acually is powerful, think about {gravecrawler}, and their effects together.

Mlerner12

I don't understand "when a card enters the battlefield that wasn't cast". Maybe "whenever a player casts a noncreature spell"?
