So with my ever growing collection if mtg cards (which in resent months has taken a very large jump!)thus I have been having more and more cards to put into my binders (currently organized like this: set>color>rarity) but its getting much harder to maintain that organization with the "jump" and I need a new way to orgenize them...any ideas?

Right now I'm thinking by block>color>and possibly rarity...

MisterJH

Well id only put value commons/uncommons and rares in a binder, find an old shoebox for the rest as seperate by color(this is my method)

i like this idea...

Thetrufflehunter

My lgs sells large tcg boxes that have rows to fit cards. I put all my bulk commons and uncommons in there (holds 3k cards) and stick the rares and mythics into my binder by color.

For me I just have a binder for each block, a binder for extra rares and mythics, and a box for my commons and Uncommons.

I like these ideas...I think I'm gonna make a few binders for rares/value uncommons and commons a put the rest in a box.  How does that sound?

Don't put two colors in the same binder sheet. That way you don't have to remove lots and lots of cards when you get new ones. You'll just have to add a page

lol ya I learned this the hard way back when I played pokèmon :P

But once you find a way you like your binders organized, KEEP IT THAT WAY haha. I organized my binders 4 times before I decided to do it by blocks. It took so much time, never wanna do that again.

True this.

I sort by rariy>color>most recent set>alphebetical... I think I did that right. Then my standard collection is separated to the front, so you see that first.

Just get a RtR gift box. That should do it!

If you find yourself with a lot bulk commons and nowhere to put them then grab a 5000ct storage box from trollandtoad.com.

Being the OCD person I am, I do:
Format>Block>Set>Color(B, U, W, G, R, Multi, Artifact, land)>Rarity>Alphabetical Order.
It takes a very long time.

Dudecore

I've got mine: rarity -> color -> alphabetical.

My binders are:
Mythics -> alphabetical.
Rares -> color -> alphabetical.
Money uncommons/commons -> color -> alphabetical

Bulk stuff is in fat pack boxes:

Set -> Color -> Alphabetical.

Since I almost always buy a playset of Common/Uncommons per set, it's helpful to keep the bulk stuff in set related fat packs.

I had binders set up, and boxes. Currently most of my bulk collection is set aside for repacks. Most of my decent bulks have been thrown into my cube; I just hope to get rid of more cards sooner than I accumulate them.

Need any homelands?
