Can you use {Ultimate Price} on an artifact creature

Only if the artifact creature has exactly one color. If it's just a {Memnite} or {Solemn Sumulacrum}, then no.

Actually no. A creature with no color does not meet the "mono" color requirement.

although not all artifact creatures are colorless, some even being multi colored
