I started playing Commander on Cockatrice and it seems that the only way to be good is to run ALL the mana rocks, and land destruction I hardly play mana rocks at all, just {Sol Ring} and {Mana Crypt}, and it seems that even when I get good "on curve" hands, my opponent plays 1 or 2 mana rocks turn 1, then more mana rocks turn 2, then a {Timetwister}/{Wheel of Fortune} effect. Is this the only way to win at commander? Please discuss.

For these reasons alone I don't like to play commander on cockatrice at all... I'd rather play with what I have at my lgs with buddies

Edh is meant to be played with cards you have in your collection. It's a different way to use cards that don't necessarily see play but you really enjoy. Cockatrice and wizards commander products don't necessarily retain the original soul of Edh very well if at all. Just play with your friends. You can still use cockatrice to play with them though, just avoid playing with random people who just want to break Edh and win all the time.

I honestly don't think i've ever played edh to win, can'tstand people who do, makes me sad to know that people actually are putting this much in to winning every time with absolutely nothing at stake

If your not in a tournament, than nothing is at stake in any mtg game. Just saying.

My lgs runs a EDH league where you have objectives that are fun and hard to do like defeat  an opponent without doing combat damage/ commander damage

Or

Defeat an opponent by dealing the twice the danger if there life total in one phase.

Or defeat an opponent with there own commander,
