{platinum angel} is cool but it sucks when you can't get rid of your {abyssal persecutor} and your opponent is at -156 life.

Is the persecutor even really all that good in the first place?

I luv the persecutor.  I just run him in decks that sac creatures.  Most ppl concede with negative life and the persecutor still on the board.....knowing that I will draw an {innocent blood} or {Phyrexian tower} or many others.  {heartless summoning} + {abyssal persecutor} = 5/5 trample flyer for 2 black mana is all I'm sayin
