Decent card in standard. I like it more in the late game when large amounts of mana are available so opponen can't cast anything else and pretty much loses a turn. But better counter spells out there for sure.

Key word on lazav is put into graveyard from ANYWHERE .. So if you can mill your opponent you can have a variety of choices, or mill yourself ( with an unburial deck) and get something real juicy for lazav to copy.  {Worldspine Wurm} I your playing BUG , or even  {Griselbrand}!

 {Rewind} I personally love this card. You can use it untap all your lands and then use your fast effects at the end of the other person turn. I run it in my standard Esper deck.
