True but I have a question now..  Say you saced the other creature besides voice. Opponent has blood artist. When creature is saced,  and  {Blood Artist} ability is triggered, does that trigger  {Voice of Resurgence}?

No that wouldn't trigger his ability either, I was just think if you had the artist on the board you could ping them for 2 and you could get the the 2 life over and over again.

It would not cause Voice to trigger, unfortunately.

Okay that's what I thought. Abilities or activated abilities aren't "spells"
