what is your least favorite ability-based deck to play against? min is exalted, can't stand it when a 1/1 atks alone and gets 9/9, and if you do kill him, there's another one coming next turn, and all of the enemy creatures aside from one are still free to block you x_x

Hexproof is the stupidest mechanic ever printed. They should have left it as shroud. Why does every creature need to be printed with troll shroud to be good anymore? It is highly unlikely we will ever see the use of shroud again since hexproof just one ups it. I miss the days of when it was just shround and troll shroud was only on a few creatures :(

I agree with DG, hexproof is redundant to deal with, seems like unless your running control your not gonna have too much fun against it.

I don't like bloodrush. It's stupid and senseless, can't be countered, and can't be countered.

It can be countered easily.

{Stifle}, {Trickbind}, {Voidslime}, {Azorious Guildmage}, {Bind}, {Interdict}, {Squeltch}, and {Voidmage Husher}.

You're welcome :)

I concur, unless you're playing black or red with spot removal, they just play through.

I agree. At least with shroud they can't pump and pump their creature while you're stuck with a dead removal card.

And not a single answer in standard.

Bloodrush is not dominating Standard. So that point is null and void. Besides, I never said there were answers in Standard outside of removal. I was simply proving that it could be countered, it just requires some knowledge of what kind of ability Bloodrush is and the knowledge of what cards combat that ability. My only point was to prove that it could be countered to the person who said it "can't be countered".

I should have clarified, I was talking about standard. Bloodrush is obviously not overpowered in other formats, or in standard. But it is better and harder to deal with in standard. I speak specifically of {Gore-Clan Rampager}. Bloodrush something with double or even first strike and you get a ton of damage in. It can be used efficiently to save a creature that would have traded, also. Of course you can declare no blocks and respond with the ol' {Azorius Charm}, but a smart player will just move to damage step if he or she knows how to play against control.

I get eaten alive by Bloodrush pretty often. {Ghor-Clan Rampager} makes a {Legion Loyalist} a nightmare. {Lightning Mauler} is still a thing. That Gruul Aggro deck is really fast. Second game I've got a better chance.

The blood rush on  {Ghor-Clan Rampager} is absurdly good....

That is all.

I took a 3 lander once, {Supreme Verdict} in hand, didnt draw my 4th land and died in 4 turns. Gruul aggro is no joke. Still like my chances to win post-sideboard.
