Does {Quest for Ancient Secrets} go to the graveyard before or after the gy gets shuffled into the deck?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's before, because sacrificing it is an additional cost to activate the ability.

Before, because it is a cost. You pay the costs, then stack, then resolve
