Why is  {Glimpse of Nature} still 20 bucks it is banned in modern and it hade a suedo reprint  {Beck // Call} which for 1 more mana is better than  {Glimpse of Nature} but  {Beck // Call} is only 2 to 3 bucks do you guys think it will get to be 20 bucks like  {Glimpse of Nature}?

2 colour, 2 mana spell is not even close to the same thing as a 1 mana 1 colour spell, even if their abilities are the same.
Is  {Searing Spear} the same as a  {Lightning Bolt}?  {Searing Spear} doesn't even have an off colour as its extra casing cost, it's got a colourless.

This is just like {Victim of Night} and {Thoughtseize}. Victim is better in every way...but cost 2 colorless more. 2 colorless makes a $60 difference!

They're similar in a round about way. You're removing the threat before you have to use removal on it.

{Thoughtseize} is dramatically better in nearly every single way though.

I don't think meant {Victim of the Night} however, perhaps {Coercion}? It is 2 colorless more, and hits everything unlike {Thoughtseize}

Paying that much for a {Duress} effect is pretty bad, it's why it doesn't see play vs. {Thoughtseize}. While better, it doesn't do enough, especially when you need it.

{searing spear} is actually good in a burn deck if you want to cram more burn in. Would you rather have 4 cheap costed cards that do 3 damage? Or 8 cheap costed cards that do 3 damage?

this is true. I'm just pointing out {searing spear} is useful. Though only in a deck that already has {lightning bolt} and is wanting to push more early burn
