I opened a box that I got for winning a prerelease. While opening a box of a small set like this makes the commons even more boring than usual (I have more than a playset of every common just from prereleases and prize packs), I must say the rares in the set make for some fun pack opening. Aside from {Trait Doctoring} and the Selesnya runner legendary, every rare looks fun to me. Even the "bad" ones I look at and think "this could be a lot of fun in commander, or in this weird deck I want to mess with, or yadda yadda..."

I wonder, would {Cloudshift} see more play if {Restoration Angel} didn't exist?  I understand that there is no 3/4 flyer attached to it, but I'm just thinking solely for the flicker effect.

I think not. A large amount of time you're playing Resto for just the body. The blink is often just a bonus. A 3/4 for {3}{W} flash is kinda what makes Resto the card it is, nevermind all of the infinite combos that it can contribute to.

Seriously. I am so glad someone finally made this. It has been something that I have constantly said. If you're not going to eat something, don't kill it. Basic rule of the food chain that humans don't seem to care about.
