I have all the ones that produce mana, I've been using  {Shadow Alley Denizen}+ {Necropolis Regent} it's been kinda sweet, and i use the thewhat with the snow covered swamps?

Do you guys think the extort mechanic(atleast just the black ones) is to measly for commander?

Extort gets better and better the more players in the game. I just tossed the new {pontiff of blight} in my {thraximundar} edh and it works wonders playing against 3 other people this could work for mono black but {gleancrawler} and {doomgape} synergize perfectly together

Ooooh never seen  {Pontiff of Blight} definately going in my friend, and I thought we couldn't have hybrids in if its a straight black edh
