Ok prerelease weekend here in Norway is over...:) Not really interesting information, but I want to share my experiance from my journey home...:)

Possibly most of you do not realise how lucky you are that you have your Pre-release Shop close to you, few miles or kilometers. I had two options. To drive for 4 hours or to take a plane to the capital city (pre-releases are held in 6 shops total in Norway). I chose the second option. On the way back during the security check I was stopped and my bags were searched.

You can guess why. :)

My decks and cards for trade were of course in my hand laguage and security officers were confused. Pushing my bags through scan again and again examining my binders and deck boxes...

Finaly they asked what the hell I have there that it shows as a plates of metal on their screen...:D

Juggalonoke

Wait what!? Metal plates? Was everything you had with you foiled? Lol (nice warning though didn't know magic cards could cause an issue as a carry on item in X-ray scans)

AgrusKos

Dang, we are lucky. Mines a 10 minute drive from my house

Byerley121

I agree I have to go only 5 minutes. And I thought driving an hour for a PTQ was long.

Right? I walked home in a few minutes as the sun rose

Birdbrain

It probably only looked like metal plates

I live in a small town and don't drive and after my phone died, my friends leaving early, and me not wanting to bother anyone so late I decided to walk the 15 miles home. 'twas an interesting night. I hope you got good pulls for you troubles

Not all of them... But some of them were foils... And my burn deck is all foil...:) and it depends also on scan's sensitivity, I guess...:D

But I bet most airports will examine you same way as they did to me yesterday...;)

Ok... Sounds like an interesting walk... Honestly I am not sure if I would be in mood for that after 10 hours of gaming...

Darius

Haha, I've been training towards a marathon, so I'm used to being alone for hours on the road; however, I have no illusions that it was the smartest thing to do.

I guess the biggest problem were those foils... And my holographic sleeves...:)

Anyway it was fun to watch those poor men investigating what I am smuggling in my laguage...:D
