Is  {Dryad Arbor} a land technically.  Like if  {Balustrade Spy} makes me discard cards untill  i reach a land ,is dryad a land? And is the limit still 4 on a legacy for dryad  or is it like mana ?

Just a thought to only have a few land and 4{Balustrade Spy}
and a bunch of 0 mana cards
  {Shield Sphere}  {Crimson Kobolds} {Dryad Arbor} {Kobolds of Kher Keep} {Memnite} {Phyrexian Marauder} {Ornithopter} {Shifting Wall} {Shield Sphere}
and then throw in
{Laboratory Maniac}

{Dryad Arbor} is most definitely still a land. On another note, it is also affected by summoning sickness, so it cannot tap for mana immediately. As for Legacy (or any format for that matter) treat it as a non basic land, such as {Temple Garden}, you can only run 4 in a deck.

It counts as a land for spells and effects that interact with lands, and it will use your land drop for the turn. It also counts as a creature for spells and effects that interact with creatures. It can't be responded to, has no mana cost, and is overall pretty cool. It isn't a basic land, so it counts for the 4 of rule.

Edit: Curses, I.D. beat me!

Haha sorry, if it's any consolation your answer is more professional.

Another question. Do i have to have land in my deck. I didnt realize there were so many 0 mana cards.  And i never really thought about it. But that would sure be neat.

No you don't! You can build your deck however you want (provided youre following any restrictions/bannings for the format you're playing in).

I have a friend who runs a landless artifact deck and it is very intimidating to watch your opponent play their entire hand first turn. However "mill until land" effects such as {balustrade spy} are game over for those decks. Just a word to the wise.

Actually in the ruling of the card it does have haste (rather, it just isn't affected by summoning sickness)

My apologies I read it incorrectly

On the card itself, it says its affected by summoning sickness.

You would still need mana generated from something besides the dryad. I would go for moxes, but I'm poor :( this means you could throw in some 1-3 mana cost spells, specially draw ones
